“You heard the song and now I have your attention.”
A stranger is anyone that you do not know. All strangers are not just mean and bad people. Some strangers are ‘tricky people’ and some strangers are safe people that can help you, but we need to know the difference. When it comes to Stranger Danger, they can appear nice, offer you candy, money, toys, a ride, ask for directions or even ask you a question. Say No No No, you don’t have to talk to them and walk away! Adults shouldn’t be asking kids for help! Most child abductions involve a relative a neighbor or someone the child knows. Parents should know where their kids are at, at all times, Kids should never be alone! If a kid is lost or in danger they should not just approach anyone. If a kid is not with their parents and they need help, always look for a uniformed police officer. If you’re in a store or the mall, look for a store clerk with a name tag or a parent with kids. Children need to know the difference between the people that can hurt them from the people that can help them! It’s time to do the right thing, spread awareness and save our kids!
